The new Permanent Secretary deployed to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning, Leon Aliboh, has assumed duty.
Aliboh was sworn in on 16 August by the then acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
A statement by Ben Goong, the acting Director in charge of Press in the ministry on Tuesday, stated that Aliboh had met with the management staff.
The permanent secretary was received by Tunde Lawal, Director of Macroeconomic Analysis Department, on behalf of the staff.
Aliboh, while addressing the management staff, pledged to run an open-door administration.
He however called for support to enable him to succeed in delivering the mandate of the ministry.
He also urged the staff to be punctual, efficient and be dedicated to their duties.
Aliboh was the immediate past Director in the department of Information and Communication Technology, Federal Ministry of Science and Technology.
